How the Credit Repair works?
Simple things to know

Three things improve your credit score: Removing negative credit items, keeping balances low and the passage of time.
Remove Negative Items - This is our specialty. A single negative item can lower your credit score by 100 points or more. You want as many negative items as possible permanently removed. Anytime you dispute a negative credit item the credit bureau has to notify the creditor that reported the negative item. The creditor then has 30 days to respond to the bureau with evidence supporting the negative item. If they don't respond in 30 days the item is removed.
Keep Balances Low- For any consumer credit or revolving credit, like credit cards and charge accounts, you should try to keep your balance at around 30% of the available limit. For example, if you have a credit card with a $10,000 limit try to keep your balance at around $3,000.
The Passage Of Time- Time has two positive impacts on your credit, and they are both totally out of your control. The longer your history with creditors, the higher your score. In addition, bankruptcies automatically fall off your credit after 10 years. Negative items cannot remain on your credit longer than 7 years.
Obviously, waiting for negative items to fall off your credit takes a long time. Challenging the items is generally a much faster way to improve your credit. |
